The move has officially started.

Sunday was spent packing up our spare room, which was once an office, until it became a dumping ground for all sorts of items!!  Once we found out we were moving, we have become very lazy around the house and anything that didn't have an official home found its way inside this room.

We figured that if we got this room half packed, the rest would be easy, and I think we were right.  We tidied the room, got rid of two bin bags worth of stuff and now have thirteen boxes full of books and DVDs.  With the majority of the other stuff in that room being furniture and valuables, which we need bubble wrap or newspaper etc to pack away.

Along the way I found some happy memories, such as a Tiffany and Co Wedding catalogue, which I picked up in Paris, maps and guides I purchased in Amsterdam.  Plus a sad memory in the form of flight confirmation for Florida 2010, which we unfortunately had to cancel.....CUE RAMBLE ...it later turns out we never needed to cancel and went on to go to Dubai later on that year.  If you stick around long enough to follow this blog you will quickly realise that Dubai is currently my favourite place on earth and I CANT WAIT to go back!!

We still have the lounge furniture, valuables and TV etc to pack away, as well as the bedroom, kitchen and other bits and bobs.  Luckily we still have two weeks-ish to get this done, along side work for G and myself and university assignments, oh the joys!!
